LaPaz, Bolivia 1985 Picture above is Gianna, Rebeca’s duplicate, ha!

Having four kids around you in the house when you are washing clothes, cooking, and cleaning can get precarious as one of them seems to always get into something unexpected. We lived in a 3 story house in LaPaz, Bolivia that had a an open patio on top. We really enjoy it as we could get fresh air and sun, and the kids could play around there freely. One day when I was up there hanging clothes to dry the door did not get shut good enough, the one that lead down to the stairs. Our youngest, Rebeca, was in a walker stroller almost big enough to walk on her own and she would drive that little thing all over the place.  One day she bumped the door open and went in. Within seconds the next thing I recall is seeing, to my utter dismay, was she had propelled herself down the stairs and the walker stroller did a perfect 360 degree flip, like it was planned in a movie. I attribute that to an angel watching over her! She fell from the top to the bottom section of the second floor and landed on her feet in that little round walker. There were a few seconds of silence and then a loud screaming cry! She was shaken up but unhurt, thank God! We were all relieved she did not break anything, bang her head, or have to go to the hospital! I have witnessed that angels do watch over our little ones, not just in this instance, but in hundreds of them.
